The Space
A vivid document of the Panthers and the Young Patriots (a white working class movement inspired by the Panthers) at the 1968 uprising outside the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, which Genet witnessed. Alk was a radical filmmaker who collaborated with Bob Dylan on his experimental films of the 1960s and 1970s.
